Bioglobal's Insights and Visions on Semiochemicals

Bioglobal released an introductory article, Kairomones VS Pheromones - Bioglobal's Reflection and Visions, in AgroPages in February 15th, 2023.

While providing educational information about semiochemicals including pheromone and kairomone, this article reflects Bioglobal's over 20 years of thinking, understanding, practicing, and forward-looking at semiochemical-based technology and its applications in agricultural pest management. 

Most importantly, this article explains how Bioglobal is actively exploring the integration of this technology with the current pest control practices. The article stated: 

“Bioglobal products, pheromone, and kairomone have been designed to be a standalone but are enhanced when all three technologies are combined for their best attributes. A pheromone treatment can be enhanced with kairomone/ pesticide treatment. A pesticide treatment can be enhanced with kairomones during emergence and flights. A pesticide treatment can be enhanced with kairomones during emergence and flights with pheromones applied at the time of crop flowering. This Integrated Pest Management approach will develop further as the use of pheromone and kairomones into broadacre monoculture become accepted for long-term, safe, and sustainable pest control.“
